WHO AM I?

Born and raised in Mexico City, I’m a UX Researcher and Experience Designer with a foundation in Industrial Design and a deep passion for understanding the “why” behind human behavior. My work focuses on creating inclusive, meaningful experiences that connect people — whether through digital products, physical environments, or participatory workshops.

I began my career in Industrial Design, where I learned to think through materials, ergonomics, and the tangible ways people interact with their surroundings. Over time, my curiosity about human motivation and social impact led me to UX Research, where I now explore how design, empathy, and evidence-based methods can foster connection and well-being.

My experience bridges research, design, and education. I’ve facilitated ethnographic studies, user interviews, and co-creation sessions, translating complex insights into actionable strategies for both digital and physical contexts. I’m particularly interested in projects that integrate technology, education, mental health, and innovation, drawing from my background as a certified instructor in Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT®) from Emory University.

I’m also deeply interested in the education field and the creation of didactic materials — developing learning tools and experiences that make knowledge tangible, engaging, and accessible for diverse audiences.

Having worked across education, mental health, and community design, I thrive in interdisciplinary environments that value collaboration and purpose. I bring a balance of analytical research skills and creative sensitivity, allowing me to move seamlessly between observation, synthesis, and design execution.

Beyond design, I’m passionate about cultural exploration and contemplative practices. I spent several years in India, studying Buddhist philosophy and cognitive science, an experience that continues to shape how I approach human-centered design with awareness and care.

When I’m not researching or facilitating, you’ll probably find me exploring new natural spots, sketching ideas, or wandering through local markets in search of stories and inspiration.
